The Step is a signature Chavez Custom Knives design with a slight step jimping for control and tactile feedback, allowing the hand to naturally lock into place during use. The “step” refers to the small transition where the handle meets the spine jimping. It was developed through hands-on shop use while dialing in grip position. That subtle change created a natural thumb index point that improves control without adding bulk or aggressive texture.
The Carry Series 6.2” is designed to be a compact fixed blade that disappears in the pocket while still providing the strength and control of a full-size working knife. Built for everyday carry and real use.
Each knife is ground, finished, and sharpened by hand in small batches.
